How to Prepare for Entry Tests

Tips that apply to ALL university entry tests in Pakistan.

Start in 11th Class

The best scores come from early starters. Begin chapter MCQs in 11th class. By 12th, you'll be solving full mock tests confidently.

Know the Pattern First

Every university has a different test format. Check the table above, then focus on the highest-weighted subjects. Don't waste time on low-weight sections.

Solve Past Papers

Solving 3–5 years of past papers is the single most effective preparation strategy. Real questions repeat. Tayarri has past papers for every test — free.

Take Timed Mock Tests

Speed matters. Students who haven't practiced under time pressure often struggle even if they know the material. Do at least 5 full mock tests before the real thing.

Don't Skip English
